I'm working on The Everyday Cowl--I'm a novice knitter and this is the first thing I've knitted in the round, although I am also trying to teach myself to use DPNs for another project that I just cast on last night (cos I want to learn to make socks)! It's a pretty nice easy pattern and not difficult to pick up and put down when the mood strikes. I'm making it in some lovely brown/mustard/orange shades for the cooler weather!

That looks like a great project! I never got the hang of dpns but the magic loop method works really well for me.

I had one go at the magic loop method and failed miserably... I think I just needed to build up a bit more general knitting experience though, and I'll definitely try again (because DPNs are so weird omg)

I admire your attitude. :-) I tried DPNs once and gave up right away.
