Some thoughts on recent things I've watched, in no particular order

1. Nailed It! is THE. BEST. SHOW.

2. (re. point 1 above, re. re. the NYE episode) Jason Mantzoukas is just Like That(tm)

3. Watched Isle of Dogs last night; I continue to just CANNOT with Wes Anderson films ugh

4. Really need to catch up on The Good Place, stat

5. Saw the trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters! It sure looks to be full of GIANT MONSTERS!

6. I love how much Mr Jupin-Lude loves GIANT MONSTERS!

7. I strongly, strongly disapprove of the characterisation of the Countess Vera Rossakoff in David Suchet's Poirot... where is the flamboyance? where is the vivacity? where is the goddamn zest, goddamn it? David Suchet I love you but what were you thinking
