It's still very hot here but on the plus side it is about 15 degrees (Celsius!!) cooler than it was when I was making my way home from a work meeting at 1pm so that's something I guess????

I pretty sure I wouldn't even be able to think in the Australian summer. Are you guys who are born there partially acclimatised?

I think we are, although Jude can confirm that acclimatisation happens the longer you stay! I feel really bad for the friend-of-a-friend from Scotland who arrived to experience hotter weather than he has ever been able to imagine, though
