Oh I'm sorry you're sick! Aggressive gingeration sounds like just the thing -- what's your recipe?? Do you steep your own fresh ginger root or sthg else?
I usually grate up a whole lot of fresh ginger, making about... a quarter cup??... of finely grated ginger bits, and plonk it into a pyrex stovetop coffeepot thing my parents used to use, fill it up with water (this particular one holds about 2 litres I think?) and bring it slowly to the boil, let it simmer for 5-10 mins and then strain and drink as needed. Making it in the kettle thing means it's easy to just reheat whenever I want through out the day. Sometimes I add lemon and honey in the cup, and/or a cinnamon stick to the pot, and/or a tot of brandy or whiskey depending on what kind of day it's been...
