fucking hell

So yesterday evening the roof went from 'leaking in one location through two floors but in a manageable fashion' to 'GOUTS OF WATER BURSTING INTO THE KITCHEN AS IF THERE WAS AN INWARD-FACING GARGOYLE SPOUT oh and also there's at least three more major leaks in the upstairs bedrooms have fun moving stuff including all of Mr Lupin-Jude's mum's paintings to safety [long story] and running around with towels and buckets suckers' in the space of five minutes

Thank heavens it eased up after ? an hour or so and nothing has actually caved in or anything, and the rain stopped overnight, but fucking hell

Things seem to have calmed down for a bit, and hopefully the massive storm will be moving on elsewhere so we should hopefully be able to get someone to come and check the damage next week, but. Yeah.

Ack! Dang roof fail. Hope it gets sorted quickly and not too expensively (I'm sooooooooooo over home improvement/repair, can you tell?)
