Early summer garden update

- tomato plants are taller than me and flowering prolifically but I'm not sure if they're setting fruit yet

- zucchini (a variety called tromboncino) are set to take over the washing line this year; about time they had a turn as previously the washing line has been colonised by spaghetti squash and pumpkins

- flowers everywhere: chamomile, calendula, oregano, marjoram, strawberries, hyssop (first time flowering!), parsley, coriander

- corn seems to have set??

- there is ONE fig on my baby fig tree

- pumpkin plants not setting fruit yet but it's early days, they're still very small

- sunflowers will be opening soon; I should plant more

- capsicum plants ready to set out in the bed

- none of my chilli seeds have germinated I will need to keep trying (or maybe just buy some seedlings this year)

- purple basil is sprouting, vietnamese and regular basil are starting to take off

- I forgot to get any amaranth like I have room for it anyway lmao

- I need to get some lettuce/rocket seeds in, I don't have any salad greens

- FUCKING CATERPILLARS

- praying mantises like bronze fennel

- needs more cornflowers

Holy crap there's a Deaf character who only uses sign language, sometimes without it even being interpreted, in The Dragon Prince????!!?! I have NEVER seen anything like this before??
